Whether you are considering the purchase of a home or an investment property, we can provide you with detailed information about the condition of the property, in a structured and practical way and in the RICS accredited format. We also include photos of our survey findings.

Even at small properties, we typically spend 2-3 hours carefully looking over the exterior and interior. An RICS Level 2 Survey (HomeBuyer) and RICS Level 3 Survey (Building Survey) provide an assessment of every element of the structure and fabric of the building.

An  RICS Level 2 Survey (HomeBuyer) will identify any significant defects (such as structural cracks, rainwater penetration) and because we spend such a long time at the property, we are able to identify a range of less significant, though still relevant, repair and maintenance issues.

An RICS Level 3 Survey (Building Survey) provides more detail about construction and condition, and is more appropriate for older and unique properties. Defects are analysed and remedies suggested.

It is important to us that our clients are not only given detailed information about their intended purchase, but also that every survey finding is put in context. To this end, we provide a summary schedule listing all issues, prioritising them in terms of importance and recommended time-frame to address them.
